Default Location, location, location!

I think any member should be required to put in their location, even if it is only their country, to simplify many of the questions asked that are different depending on where they are located. We have users from all over the world and it sure will speed up the answers that are asked many times. I don't think this is asking too much and it sure wouldn't be a confidentiality issue.

Lew I already asked for that and yr and model from Jimc64. stated while cant require it, it definitly would make things easier to get more accurate and timely info... even in the states, climate in different parts of the country plays a big roll, not to mention left/right and drive...
Are you right hand drive in Georgia???

K guys, I have added a mandatory setting for location for new registrations. It may still be open to a different kind of abuse but we'll see how it goes.....
I've also added a "vehicle info" field where members must input their make / model and YOM ( year of manufacture )....again we'll see how it goes..

Thanks.

Yeah! I just got my notice that there are mandatory fields empty in my profile...couldn't do ANYTHING until I added my car info. Great job!!

I sure hope the location thing sticks too, I support that idea.
