Default Power steering

Just got “Bagheera” back from the shop. I had electronic power steering put in hidden order the dash and a 15” Mota Lita steering wheel installed. What a difference in driving and comfort!

These cars were always on cross-ply tyres that gave lighter steering. I would think on modern radials one needs to be fairly hefty to steer and park at low speeds. Glad to hear you have managed to get a PS system fitted. My MG TF has electric PS and that is a small sports car !!

You are right about the radials. Plus the added space of the 15” steering wheel is a real plus. Of course I saved the original 17” wheel. I have kept everything as close to original as possible while making it reliable and comfortable to drive.
