pulling rear axle XK120
We are having trouble pulling 1953 Jaguar XK120 rear axles. We are assuming that removing the backing plate screws would free up the axle so it would slide out...maybe not!
The splined shaft is very firmly attached to the axle hub and we assuPleasme that does not have to come off but maybe we are wrong.
Please enlighten.
