Weird Body Number

Weird Body Number

Hello folks,
My 59 XK150 DHC looks right in every way except for a weird body No stamped on the id Plate. Instead of the usual And four numbers its L and 6 numbers ending in 59 Has anybody else had this issue?

Too cryptic. What is the number in full? What is the chassis number? Can help but not with this info.

body number is : L012259 (seems weird)
chassis number is : S837628
