Default XK 150 Restoration

Well, I have finally started on restoring my 1958 XK 150 DHC. If anyone has knowledge of this car please let me know. The car was partially disassembled when I bought it about 20 years ago. It has been sitting in my shop since then. The person that I bought it from started a restoration but the work was totally botched. There is extensive rust on the body, so a lot of sheet metal ia going to be replaced. My first step is to totally strip everything and then remove the body from the frame. I am going to take the body and frame (seperated) to a metal stripper near Greenville, SC to be dipped. I will keep posting as work progresses. Some pictures are attached.

Looking forward to a meaty restoration series. Will be expecting at least weekly instalments. LOL
