First time Jaguar owner. I bought a 1953 XK120ES FHC that has "J" headlights with an LED conversion. The lenses have a milky discoloration on the inside that I can't get access for cleaning so I want to replace them. Are these the proper lights for this car or should they be the "Tripod" lenses? If tripod, the 7" diameter? Will the tripod lense mount with the same retaining hardware as the "J"? Is the hole at the back for the lamp the same size for the "J" and tripod style... I need to accommodate the existing LED lamp. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

 

All led conversions are giving a strange image, I went for Halogen. Most XK120 had 3 pods, later some "J" headlights.
I would go for the 3 pods with Halogen lights.
