Steve, has very kindly agreed to donate a Convertible Remote Top Controller Kit, MSRP $194.95 to $229.95 (depending on model) for one lucky member.
Jaguar omitted the very desirable ability to control the convertible top operation with the existing remote key fob for the X100 series XK8 and XKR or the existing XK and XKR smartkey remotes on the new alloy bodied X150 series XK and XKR
This feature adds convenience, fun and 'cool factor' to the ownership experience of a convertible XK8, XK or XKR.
The module comes complete with all accessories needed for installation. All wiring is color coded to match your vehicle, so you simply have to match the colors to the car wiring to install it. Connections are made with included Posi-Taps™, which are extremely simple-to-use reliable wire connectors.
To enter the Draw, simply add your Member Name to this thread.
1. The promotion will run from 9th September until mid day 18th Sept AZ time.
2. A simple post into the thread will be enough to confirm entry into the Promotion.
3. Only one entry per member allowed.
3. All entrants MUST own a 1996 - 2015, XK8 or XK or XKR convertible Jaguar. This MUST be in their SIGNATURE or their PROFILE.
4. The winner will be drawn at random by one of the Mod Team. Winner to be notified by forum PM or email no later than 3 days after the promotion closes.
NOTE: All XK8 / XK / XKR member owners WORLDWIDE are eligible for entry. Prizes can be shipped Worldwide via International Priority mail. The winner however, is responsible for any local custom fees, duties and or taxes.

Just a comment. I installed this control on my XK 2009, and all I can say is AWESOME! I use this feature everyday and am amazed every time.
The instructions for installation are outstanding. Took me a bit more time, but I'm one of those measure twice, cut once people.
