Hi everyone I'm trying to find some information regarding using 16" XJ8 wheels (from a 1999) on a 2000 XK8 which currently has the stock 18" wheels. It looks like the bolt pattern is the same (5 x 4.75") and it looks like it's common to go the other way (XK8 wheels on an XJ8), but I wanted to check with the experts to make sure brake clearances are OK. This might seem like an unusual swap, but the roads are in such bad shape right now in Michigan that if I want to drive the car at all this spring, I need to put on some tires with significantly more sidewall. It also looks like 16" rims from a 2000 Camaro should match up with the bolt pattern, but I'm not sure yet on the center bore and offset. Thanks for any info/help.
