Hello team


I would like to have a spray can made up at one of my local auto paint shops.
Normally they would like a fuel filler cap or some other small trinket to match the paint exactly.


I can't work out and don't really want to remove any trinkets so they can match


I'm happy just to provide them a paint code.


I believe mine is Saphhire blue.


Its a sort of metallic deep/navy blue


Where on the car do I find the paint code plate please?


i have had a fairly good look around the engine bay which is where they normally are but to no avail

In the US it's on the drivers side door opening, at the bottom of the GVW sticker, Both the exterior color and the interior . That would put it on the passengers side on your car unless the move it.

The three letter paint code is bottom left on the manufacturer's sticker:



This is the sticker on my UK spec Frost Blue 2005 XK8, paint code JJZ.
