Unhappy 2000 XKR 'vert - RH Headlight Washer Cover - MISSING

Arrgggghhhh! Came out from work today and something was wrong. Like a smile missing a tooth, the silver cover for my right side headlight washer is GONE.

Is this a readily available and easily replaced part? (Of course! Aren't they all?)

hi;

I'm missing the passenger side on my '97.

I looked briefly on line and it looks like you can get them for $78. or so.

I put a 'wanted' on this site, no replies yet.

But anyway, I create props where I work so I'm making my own out of clay!

I traced the driver's side, flipped the tracing, flattened the clay, baked it; and now I have to shape, sand, and paint it.

I'm optimistic!

but I maybe crazy.

haha

Good luck!

I had the exact thing happen last year on my 2000 XKR; on the way to work I lost my passenger side washer cover. It's about $60 ordered right at the Jaguar dealer.

Cool, 80s. I just told my wife we'll need to check with the dealer because SOMETIMES things are less money there. Thanks for the tip. Must not be an uncommon loss.

I'm thinking that making one out of a large guitar pick may be more durable in the long run than baked clay turns out to be....
