Default 2001 XKR 722.6 Transmission Question

Has any early (2001) XKR owners with the Mercedes 722.6 transmission noticed if there were two magnets in the oil pan on removal? SNG Barrett does not show them and I had none when I dropped mine out, not even the drain plug was magnetized. Why would Mercedes deem them necessary but not Jaguar?

Did a trans flush on my 2000 XKR last week and I also wondered why I had no magnets in the pan?

Here's a breakout of the 722.6 notice no magnets are indicated.

Thanks Jamdmyers,
That is strange. All the 722.6 Mercedes videos show removable magnets. I just bought a new pan from the local Mercedes dealer as mine was slightly warped, they threw in a magnet for just 34 Cnd, they were wearing a mask!

1999 XKR and no magnets inside pan. Noticed also same that some 722.6 do have factory set magnets inside pan if I recall right.

Solved this by adding 2 dismantled hard drive magnets outside of pan (not bold enough to put em inside)
