Greetings,

On my 2002 XKR, I cannot get the radio to turn off. When I push the knob inwards as if you normally would when turning it off, it clicks like it normally should but the radio does not turn off. The volume knob works fine for controlling the volume. I searched the forum for a thread on this but could not find anything and I wanted to see if anyone had a similar situation and could offer a suggestion on what to look for and or what to repair.

As a note I have had the issue where the volume knob started working intermittently and cleaning the contacts seemed to fix the issue, but perhaps this new issue is deeper and more internal to the radio?
