Yeah I know. No one listens to am. We live in the Bay Area and my wife listens to KGO.

Their is a lot of interference or lousy reception when tuned to AM radio. Stock Alpine system, 2002 XKR.

I too listen to a lot of KGO on the commute up 101 from Gilroy. There are a couple of noisy spots, but most of the way it is quite good. It is the same in any of the other vehicles I use and one after market radio was even worse. I wish they did HD!
