Hi all, new member in RI, USA. I'm looking for information about engine interchangeability between models and years, specifically if a 4.2 liter v8 from a 2006 XJ8 would be a direct fit in my 2003 XK8. As far as I can tell from my research, they are both aj34 engines, are there any differences that would make the swap not feasible? Thanks in advance, Mark.

 

x350 is aj33, you need to play lego with the oil pan and swap accessories over.

 

Thank you sir, It's very hard to find information on the differences between the model year engines and interchangeably of them. I come from the GM LS world, lol, where things are a little easier for me. Cheers, Mark.
