I just had my rear bushings and shocks replaced. The rear shocks were replaced with Billstein B4 OE Damptonic 20-070823; bushings are polyeurethane. After install, I have an in dash suspension fault. The installer's computer says the shocks are functioning, but he cannot clear the code. In my opinion, the whole suspension system feels like it is riding firm all the time. The front in particular seams to be riding noticeably firm. The harness connections to the shock were checked and they are connected.

The installer thinks the error code is in error, and should be cleared. I am wondering if these are the incorrect shocks or if one is faulty, could it be causing the whole electronic dampening system to fail?

Raise your driver seat and jiggle anything underneath. Sometimes the seat pinches a wire that throws this error.
