2003 XKR Valet Switch
I never had an occasion to use the Valet Switch on my recently acquired 2003 XKR convertible until a few days ago - and it didn't work. I removed the knee bolster to gain access to the switch and discovered that neither the switch nor the adjacent sensor were connected. In fact, there was no valet switch at all - only the Valet button on the panel. I ordered a switch and installed it and the valet feature works perfectly. The other connector, however, does not want to attach to the sensor. That's a project for another day. This was a 15 minute job that actually only took 15 minutes - I'll call that a success !
Good for you, mine fell apart the first time I removed the bolster and I never bothered to fix it.
Your in Roanoke, I use to live out side of Lynchburg and worked in Roanoke. Nice part of VA.

Hello Jandreu - Yes, this a nice part of Virginia. You are in a pretty nice area as well! We're actually one county north east of Roanoke in the village of Fincastle. Lots of nice Jaguar roads around here. There are at least two other forum members in the Roanoke area, Havebook and 77hdfx, but i haven't run across them yet.
