I must have missed the part where you mention what sort of seats those are.

Is that a switch panel on the bottom right of the seat?

Seems like a cool idea to wire up accessories.

They are Recaro Ergomed (last generation) the switches are for seat functions (including cooling).

That is awesome!

Cooling in the seats would be great here in Orlando during the summer.

Default Couple minor changes

Went to digital gauges for the A-Pillar (I can read them with the top down now) and got blue to match the car. Door sills are now sorted and look much better. LEDs run the entire length now.

The sills are awesome.

Are they something that could be bought or do you have a tutorial on how you made them?

Audio Design on Stevens Creek in San Jose made them up for me. I bought a spare set of sills on eBay so they could work on them without having them off my car and they have an engraver that did the etching for me. Now that they've done one set they likely could do others reasonably easily. They've done most of my electrical mods and do a lot of work for the Jaguar Dealer up the street (British Motors).

Default Reworked the amp

This is a bit over the top, the stereo shop got out of control, but it looks cool and I'm pretty sure this amp can wake the dead. It is missing one more part and will take final shots when it is done. Pictures are a bit dark, will see if I can get some better light in there. It is trimmed in suede and color matched trim.

Default Picture spread

It has been a while since I took a full set of pictures. Car is being moved to Bend Oregon this week so I should be able to get a better set when I have it up there (assuming I make it in one piece).

Lol. Great minds think alike!! I've made a similar set but haven't installed!! I used electro illumiescent strips in Aqua running the full length.
Got sidetracked making my Union Jack XF front lighted badge! Think I'm making the same badge for my XK8 as well! But with the older growler!

Default Nice Phil

I think I like the newer growler better though. Oh and here is a current picture of my engine. I'm still messing around with the intake.

Rob,
Doesn't look like you gave up much boot space for all that audio gear. Did you take the gas take out to make room?

Now that would be a true trailer queen!

Default The Amp is big but not thick

I probably lost about an inch and a half. You don't notice it. I used to have twin amps back there. This single amp is far more powerful but I did it mostly because I thought this would look better. Granted the number of folks that will see it out of this forum are slim or none. I would have done this where the back seat was but if I ever got caught in the rain I would have been screwed so in the trunk it went. Here is the prior configuration.

Default Some minor changes

Had the side cladding removed and then resprayed parts of the car that had been abused. She cleaned up nicely.

Strangely, I like it better without the side cladding.
