Just went by the Jaguar Dealer in San Jose and there was a nice Green (rare color) 2006 XKR with 60K miles and they are asking about $30K. Looks like it is in real nice shape.

Apparently they are getting their first F-Type in Tuesday so I'm going for a test ride this week. (Time to swap out he S5 Audi and I'm really tempted to get an F for a work car. I love my job!).

 

Are you sure they are getting their first F-type or is it the car that have been going around to dealers as a display only? I think you will find the cars won't be in dealer showrooms for a few more weeks.

 

That is a very sharp looking and very rare color. Price seems a bit high.

Maybe you should apply for a job at the dealer. You could probably both an employee and senior citizen discount (from one who takes it when he can!).

They weren't supposed to get them in for several months, so I'm guessing this one is just for test drives and pre-orders. Still be fun to drive.

 

Wife wants a Mini and it is her turn to pick the third car so working for a dealer is likely the only way I'll get this. Still I'm working it for all I'm worth.

 

Yep, dealer car. They sure don't sell at a discount...

 

I think you will find the car is for display only, not to be driven. We will have a car on May 6th & have been told it is not to be driven.
