Default 2018 AVOS Twin Screw XKR Kit Uninstalled HELP

Looking for some help with my AVOS Kenne Bell kit! The custom manifold had some JB weld all over the nozzles, is this how the kit came from AVOS? Some of the nozzles are completely or almost completely blocked all the way through. The supercharger is also covered with a grey sealant, did AVOS ship them out this way? I’ve included some other pictures of the kit. Was this a partial instal or does it appear brand new? Thank you!

Hey Sethharttt.
No, is the quick answer.
The kit does not arrive in this condition. Your kit has obviously been used, taken apart and rebuilt. The yellow crush drive is the original drive, this was later updated to the stronger, firmer green crush drive.
For peace of mind, send it back to the manufacturer. JM Tech in Sweden who make the compressor under contract to Kenne Bell. The full service is not expensive but the shipping is. My original yellow crush drive disintegrated into the gears after ten years of use and I returned the complete unit back to the manufacturer.
Great, great people. give them a call for any further suggestions on a way forward with what you have. Again, really nice people. Their contact details are: info@jmtech.se and their website is: https://jmtech.se/english
The compressor does need to be perfect especially with the tolerances and loads involved.
Very best of luck with you're project and you are in for a lot of fun.

Thank you so much! How has reliability been with your AVOS XKR?

Perfect!!
Again, after 10 years of use, a rattle in the snout was found to be the original, old yellow, star crush drive and that has been the only issue.
Because of the levels of accuracy required for the mounting of the rotors, the guys at JM Tech suggested they change the bearings and check all the required machine parameters. There was zero sign of wear on the rotors and the old bearings were perfect but it is easier to replace with new than refit the old.
The AVos system is solid, well designed and robust. Enjoy.
