4.3 for 4.0
Only just curious....is itcompatible toswapin a4.3 into a earlier19994.0 car? Other then the physicalswap itself? Does the 4.3 share the same harnesses fasteners as a 4.0? I assume there would bedifferent ECM Calibrations. Is it a different generation of ECM for the 4.3?
I know anything can be made to work with the right effort. But had not seen anyone post that swap for a replacement candidateand a smallupgrade at the same time. Other then the Bore/Stroke differences of the two. What else changed that would make it difficult?
Thanks for your thoughts in advance.

RE: 4.3 for 4.0
Were you planning on using the Aston Martin 4.3 version of the AJ-V8 (that is a bored out version of the original 4.0 rather than the stroked 4.2 jaguar version of the same engine).
I am asking because I am wondering how much commonality there is between Aston Martin and Jaguar ECUs and if you inadvertenly found something out?
