Default # 6 misfire

Help please!!!
engine misfires on #6 cylinder;;;; I have changed injector, coil, plug, and connectors. the voltage readings are the same as the other cylinders using a fluke meter and spoons ( any ideas?)
I have 4 codes:
Po306
P1316
p0206
p1000
All of this started when I changed a power steering pump because it leaked, any help will be greatly appreciated, NJ

Don't know what year yours is but if an early one it could be the ignition amp module or ECU.
Did you replace the coil with a new one or swap it with one of the others? I had a brand new coil that was bad so that had me going for a bit.

It's a 1997 and I swapped and changed it twice, almost at wits end

Have you tried swapping the 2 ignition amp modules with each other? If its not that it could be the ECU. Worst case you will need to do a compression test. They changed the plug number layout in later years also...

Thanks Dave I'll try that next and have the ECU rebuilt if the amp change doesn't work

I had excellent results getting mine rebuilt at ASI. Decent price and quick turnaround.

1997, have the ECU looked at. ASI did the one on my 97, something like 250 bucks. Also have had other work done to a few other things with them. they are good.

Also: What kind of spark plugs are you using? I had a persistent P0206 code in an older turbocharged engine that drove me nuts for weeks until I tried a set of Iridiums. I had replaced the coils, spark plug wires and O2 sensors (yeh - that last one was stupid). Installed the Iridiums - problem gone. Never returned. Since then I've always used Iridiums in my "modern" engines and they've been wonderful.

Thanks scardini1, I have already changed out the plug with an Iridium to no avail, the injector would not fire either. I received word today from ASI and they have fixed the ecu . it was bad will let everyone know when I get it back

It's all good. Glad ASI tracked down a repairable ECU problem. I hope that takes care of all the Gremlins. Good luck. Keep us posted.

Well I just got the ECU back for the second time and have the same problem. It ran fine for three blocks and the engine started to misfire and run ruff again. The first time I got it back it would not start the car. I have ordered another one from a different co. and am going to send this one back again. they have found problems with it both times. If ASI ever gets it fixed I will have a spare.

Bummer on the bad box, Nitro.

Say - Just out of curiosity....... In dealing with these ECU sources, have any of them said they could program out the 155 MPH limiter? One of these days I'd put on a set of VR tires and see how fast she'd go on the track "IF" I could get rid of the limiter. With the limiter, there's no point - I know she'd hit 155 easily.

Well the new ECU worked for about 10 miles and the engine started missing again and all of the codes came back, anyone have another idea?

what are your fuel trims like (check with obdII dongle + phone). Long shot but if you've changed everything on the fuel and injection side then it could be air getting in.
you'll see it over fuelling if there's a leak.
You could have a leak on one side (e.g. part load breather)
