Hello all
As the thread title states, my inquiry pertains to the conformal coating on the ECU motherboard. I have cleaned pcb, removed faulty capacitor and soldered in a new one so now I'm just wondering if anybody knows what type of conformal coating Jaguar used on these circut boards?
Many different types for sale on Ebay so looking for a compatible one.

Hmmm. I've not considered conformal coating repair so I can't advise on a specific.

You're only disturbing the small area of circuit pads where the caps are fitted:- I'd just ensure that any soldering flux residue is removed (IPA will do that just fine), although you could possibly put a little nail varnish over them afterwards.

Please change out all seven caps. Where one has gone the others are sure to follow...
