What is the life span on one of these???? My 97 XK8, I am pretty sure is on it's orig trans never been touched. It shifts fine, spooth, no slipping at any speed or get on it speed. How long can I expect this puppy to stay alive?

 

Jaguar says it is "Sealed for life'. The experience of the forum members is that 'life' is 80k to 100k miles. But you have to remember that anyone that has no problems does not post here.

Yah, i'm at 85k, just had the transmission serviced at the dealer, and hoping to get another 80k out of her. If i could get to 150k, i'd be pretty happy with that. The ZF transmissions are very reliable, so it is possible to get long life from them.
