'99 XK8 rag top replacement
Guys, when I bought my XK8 convertible I managed to get it discounted as the night before I collected her a, aherm, mischief maker' slashed the hood some 24-30 inches.
I managed to pick up a replacement on a well known auction site...so, the burning question, has anyone successfully replaced their hood themselves?
I imagine this is NOT an easy task

Any Recommendations About Replacing Your XK8 Top?
I'm about to replace the top of my 1999 XK8. I'm wondering if you have any recommendations for me?
For instance, did the replacement you picked up on a well-known auction site worked out for you?
If yes, who was the maker of your top?
Also, what did your replacement top cost and what did its installation cost, assuming you ultimately chose not to do it yourself?
