Air con heater problem

XKR 1999 I have replaced the aircon radiator and had it recharged, it worked but not that cold, my heater only works when I turn it to 30°C is there a valve that controls the two of them?

There is a blend door in the air distribution box that can stick. Unfortunately it's down under the dash.

I have a1999 XK8 4.0 and want to replace the orifice valve and dryer after replacing the pressure switch and don't know where the orifice valve is located. Any help out there please?
