Hi,
Well, you got me on this one. I can't find the thing either.
Some of the locations in the EG are about as much use as Stevie Wonder's sunglasses.

So far all I have found is that the connectors AC13 and AC15 (to which it connects) are located on the "FASCIA BOTTOM CONNECTOR MOUNTING BRACKET, RIGHT HAND SIDE"
...almost impossible to see in there without taking the bolster off, and then there's the RHS blower in the way.

I'll keep looking.

Well I need to pull the bolster off but I wonder if its behind that plastic kick in the drivers footwell on the RHS ,
I need to find it because I have an extra heater water pump which is at present on with the ignition. In the summer when the air con is on I want the pump off and this relay seems to do it for me .( driving another relay with NC contacts.)
Have you found any access from inside the cab to the engine for wires ??

Neat idea.

I'm pretty sure it's not behind the kick panel as I removed it once in my search for EM1. I don't recall any relays. There's a pic here of behind, and also one of the kick panel with it's hidden clip:

...unfortunately the thumbnails won't expand.

I considered looking on the LHS since the mirror heater relay is shown as being in the same location on that side, plus there's more room in there. But I don't have heated mirrors so that's a non-starter unless I can find the relay socket.

It's a PITA

I have a vague recollection of seeing a blue relay some time in the past so will revisit previous dismantles.

I found both violet relays when troubleshooting my air con. A prize goes to the designer who thought of the position of those! On my right-hand drive car they are right behind the drivers dash panel fuse box. To get to them, you need to remove the panel under the steering wheel and reach towards the back of the fuse panel. The two relays are actually more black than violet.
They're a bit of a tight fit as they're fitted close together. A mirror is useful for locating them.
Good luck with your search.
