alarm issue

Default alarm issue
when I lock the car now, the interior light flashes, but instead of headlights flashing, there,s a loud beep from the front. When unlocking, again no headlight. Headlights do work. Whats, wrong here?

I would do a hard reset first and see if the issue changes.

Make sure every protected opening is securely closed and the key is not in the ignition

why have the alarm on? I never use mine. Most people think Jags are junk, so they prob are not stealing Jags.

figured it out. the hood was not shut right. As far as the alarm, I just locked the car with remote. I thought that also sets alarm.

Didn't you get the hood open indicator on the dash ?
