Default alarm sensitivity

Is there a way to alter the sensitivity of the car alarm, had lots of heavy rain up north in the uk lately that seams to set it off.

Tell me about it.
my understanding is that the glass breakage sensor works by soundwaves and not ultrasonics. so inside the car in heavy rain it sounds like the glass is breaking and sets the alarm off.
i stuck some foam tape over the sensor and now no more false alarms.

My XK8 alarm would go off in a hail storm.

The glass breakage sensor can't be adjusted but can be set either ON or OFF with Jaguar Diagnostics.
