Default Almost a fun day...

Was taking the Portfolio to it's first car show this morning after detailing, waxing and all that stuff. After about ten miles, the "Sport" mode light goes out, "D" blinks and I lose the ability to manually shift the slush box. Pulled over and restarted the car. Same-o, drive only. Oh well, continue on. Couple of miles later, "Check fuel cap" message comes on. I pull over, shut off the car and loosen and retighten the fuel cap. Start up again and the message is gone. Couple of miles later and "DSC Failure" message pops up. She-who-must-be obeyed is not impressed with my rolling work of art and it is decided that the omens should be recognized and the car is to return home. Stopped and restarted and no more messages all the way back, still "Drive" only though. Battery shows 12.88V resting and 14.1 charging, no idea why all the silliness.

Squeeze the crimps on the battery terminals with a portable vise.

Check that the bolted connections at the megafuses at the rear of the trunk are tight.

Check that the power feed bolt to each fusebox is tight. (For safety, do not put a wrench on a +12v bolts unless the battery is disconnected).
