2000 XK8, installed a new battery a few weeks ago, been running fine. took it out for a drive yesterday, parked it in the driveway when i got home & noticed the antennae was up. turn the ignition back on to bring it down, and now the car won't start, no lights, dashboard, starter clicks, windows, or anti-theft signal. completely dead.

while on the road the last time, the "ASC & TRAC not available" indicator came on, as well as the ABS icon. other than that, i haven't a clue. just glad it decided to die in the driveway. any ideas or suggestions on where to start are greatly appreciated!

 

check the battery connections at the battery and where they go to the terminals in the trunk. Maybe one is loose. Was it running fine before the battery change, if so i would look at those things first, could have god worked loose.
