Well I'm always searching local ads for jaguar stuff when I caught an 03 xkr engine for sale....Usually when they do come up they are high mile and still cost a lot or from an xjr or s type R and not an actual xkr...So when I seen this for sale and only for $650 dollars....WELLLLL,,,,,I had to take a look. Guy bought it for a project a few years back and he decided to not go through with it so he says and now needs the room. Allegedly 30,000 miles on it.


So I get to the location and its a shop with a bunch of jaguars, a Porsche, land rover.....Hmmm...I take a look and there is the motor on the stand. Still has the intercoolers/aftercoolers but no SC(he told me it was sold.) Definitely an xkr motor by the looks of the IC's and well look at that photo I'm attaching! Score!. Now I have two!

 

Great! Now just extend the fronted and build a v16..

Well I bought one to eventually do a 4.2 swap in my 001 xkr...This one has lower miles and the price was right....So why not! Now all I need is a good deal on a nice xkr with a blown motor and id be set:O)
