I just ordered JAGTAG tonight. I have been wanting to get this plate for so long but I had to get the car first, I was so scared someone was going to take it before I could get it! I also was thinking of doing jagurit ( like tag your it) but 7 letters was only available for a few weeks in november for some special thing and it was almost twice as much.

Default His and Hers

Saw this while at the local independent Jaguar mechanic today. His and hers silver XKR coupes. Hers has the backup sensors. Notice his is on top.

As long as I never see "WAS HIS" on one I'm cool with all of them.
I was thinking of getting TOP CAT for mine, if it's available?

I bought my Mercedes at the age of 42 and the plates read "PAYDOFF", I just bought a 2003 XKR Convertible as a mid life crisis toy ( now 50 YS OLD),lol . I'm thinking about the plate reading
" PNUSNLGR" as in PNUS N LGR. Just my warped sense of humor.

Registered the car in North Carolina. We picked the Blue Ridge Parkway tag because of the Color and its Quote "SHARE THE JOURNEY" it only has 4 letters to customized because of the layout... The wife could not think of something that she could live with as a Vanity Tag... So we just got the tag with random letters.

We did not like the "First in Flight" red blue white tag layout,,,

However you could have put "POVRTSUX" on it.

If I registered it in Fla could have put a "Jacksonville Jaguar" tag on it BUT we are Packer fans,,, Florida has alot of custom plate choices,,,

A friend had "DOUNVME" on his Mustang... I thought that was weird.

Steve,
Back in the late eighties I had a Karmann Ghia, a '74 I think. For about $80 a wrecking yard in Stamford let me strip whatever I wanted off a Karmann that had just come in. I was like a kid in a candy store. Boxes and boxes of parts! Those days are gone -- around here at least.

My 1990 Majestic plate was XJ6. I took it just because it was available. When I killed the Majestic I transferred XJ6 to my VW Cabrio, which gets some amused smiles and queries from those in the know. I haven't ordered a vanity plate for my XK8. I have some ideas though.
John

gosh darn it, i shouldn't have seen this thread. got so inspired by all the great plates, just had to go out there and get me one too: "X308 SC". Just checked and the "X308 R" is available too. Chose the SC moniker since I'm a USC alumn. Kinda play on words :-)
