Default Best choice for stainless (or aluminum) bezel rings?

Hello, guys.

I'm going to have my interior wood panels refinished to a darker color (they've gone orange over time). When the wood panels are re-installed, I want to add the stainless or aluminum bezels around the gauges.

For those who have bought these rings from an aftermarket supplier, I'd appreciate hearing from you. Where did you get them? Happy? Quality? Install without problems?

Thanks!

There is a guy on the UK eBay who does a very nice set I always use myself and very reasonable... It is possible for a full set of 6 rings, J gate surround and foot pedals for just $150(ish)

Goes by the name of s.askew.... Search this number on eBay 380581300805 he ships worldwide

Thanks Tony.

I see that his set on Ebay also includes the alloy pedals and gearshift surround. Are you happy with his quality on these pieces, as well as the rings?

If I had any criticism I would prefer the accelerator pedal to be a bit better but I understand why he has done what he has (used pop rivets) but it works easy/well

I would still recommend him

Hi, guys!

I also purchased the 6 ring set from s.askew eBay seller. The best value overall. I prefer the polished alloy set before the chrome for it still shines enough yet it sheds the tacky fake chrome impression of cheap abundant plastic chrome decor from mainstream cars. The three big rings fit in the openings quite well without need for further fixing (no shake, rattle, solid when wiping off the dash). However, I had to fix the three small instrument rings. Despite of their snug fit the far right kept coming out when I simulated car wash treatment . I used double sided 2mm 3M adhesive tape (for sale
HERE HERE
on Amazon). I simply glued it along the far outer edge of each ring and then pushed the it in place. The upside is that my wood won't be damaged should I need to remove them later, and they feel like factory sealed on regular touch .
Here's pic of my install...btw, now that rings give my car interior much subtle feel, they also created a need to get the gear surround in same style to complete to look.
PS: The three large/main cluster rings will be delivered slightly arched which freaked me out at first until I realized the it is exactly made to fit tighly along the slightly arched main panel form

These s.askew rings sounfd like a great deal. I have the Mina rings and they were not arched like they should be, and the fit on the shifter bezel switches was less than perfect. Also the bezel did not come with the correct hex screws.

I have a set of s.askew pedals and like them very much (I added rubber inserts into the holes).

When I got the set, I also got a shift surround and it was a hefty piece of gear, machined from a block of aluminum. It just wasn't the look I wanted but quality wise, it was quite nice.

I purchased these also with gear surround. I like very much and installed with clear silicone, this way no damage to wood and easily removable if needed. As stated before, the gear surround is very heavy and the large rings are oval to fit exactly.

I have S.Askew's three ring package and brushed J-Gate surround. What I'd like next would be a brushed ring/rectangle surround around the Nav/Clock screen below the AC vents. Anyone seen or heard of such a product?
