Some Uro parts are better than others. And they are improving. Just about all my underhood hoses, save for the upper rad hose which was Rein, are Uro. The hose quality itself seems pretty good. The down side was that the ID of every hose was just a bit smaller than it should have been.

I have a Uro window regulator in my 2002 E39 and it seems to be holding up well. Whatever the OP installed was a bunch of crap, so there are worse choices out there. I know they've improved the quality of their regulators.

But, whatever. Beggars can't be choosy. There just isn't the OEM support for these cars like there is for other marques, like Mercedes and BMW.

There are no other options. Mine needs a set, too. After searching, it was Uro or nothing. IIRC I found a couple gennie ones, at eye watering prices.

My 2 cents worth (No Tariff), The Motor Mounts are not Hi Tech and only require a stable flexible reservoir for the fluid plus metal parts. A competent manufacturer can duplicate the metal parts and obtain the flexible reservoir design part due to other companies research and use. Cadillac used a similar design on some of their cars.. As their Rep stated, they strive to make a quality parts. For Front Shock Mounts both Wayne & Baxtor use a 60-70 Durometer material and it WORKS. Why try to use softer and less durable materiel to soften the ride? Fortunately I only had the Welsh Poly Mounts to fail. Gianni did the Harsh Testing in P.R. and Wayne's were ready to install and we confirmed the procedure for correct fitting. Both Wayne & Baxtor are to be commended for their R&D on a stable Poly Pad. Seems using only the correct ingredients would allow the URO shock mount pads to be the Quality product.
