Default This may be the best price for new HID Ballast?

I've been searching 2 days for the best price on a 12 pin ballast for my 2003 XKR. I found this site, hidorigin.com. With the promo code "DIS10" plus shipping, it's only $203.56. That's over $50.00 less than the best I've found anywhere else. Has anyone ever used this company?

No response, so I went ahead and ordered it. I'll let you all know how it goes.

The supplier is a very long way from GA!

It took determined digging on the the website to find the address:

Mac Cottage
Saline Road
Oakley
Fife
KY12 9LA
UK

From the description, it's the genuine Valeo part so your only issue should be the additional time delay for trans Atlantic shipping from Scotland to US.

Well I tried. I just got an email from them stating that they are out of stock and will be refunding my payment. I also heard from one supplier that they stopped making the part. Now I'm ordering from buymoparpartsnow.com parts# 68019173aa $245.64 with promo code hotdash, including shipping. Still a good price compared to most other suppliers. The one I pulled out has a manufacturer's date of 4/2/08. It may be a coincidence but that could mean the first ballast lasted 5 years and the same for the second. I know it's rated for 2000 hours and my XKR has 85,000 miles. This headlight had a lot of condensation and I thought that the moisture took out the ballast. There's a lot of white power from corrosion all around the old ballast, so age or moisture got to it. Either way I'm guessing I will be doing this again too soon. Some of the suppliers state that low cost bulbs will lead to premature ballast failure.
