I have a 2002 xk8 black with black interior, chrome impeller wheels that are totally shot as well as the tires. Chrome is pitted and cracking.
Just purchased a complete set of the same impeller wheels in powder coated gloss black with fairly new tires, at least 85% tread left for 1300 shipping included. So now I'm going black on black on black!
Also installing the mina arden style body kit and front vent bulges, moving my custom front badge to the inset black gloss mesh grille, and adding red calipers.
I want to customize my interior as well. Mina gallery is working on a real carbon interior wood replacement. I also have a matte silver leather hide I'm toying with having the seat centers and door panel centers detailed with. i never planned to change the chrome classic look but the wheels had to go due to condition and the deal was simply too good!!

Hey, Rob, when you did your headlights, did you black the interior or were they the later model? I want to black mine but didn't think about it when I added the rings. I really hate having to heat the lense to open but will if necessary.
Also, are your rings the paragon? I really want them but concerned with the fewer lights in them, they won't show during the day.

 

They were opened (glass off) and painted body color by the paint shop that did the work. I didn't find out about the Paragon rings until after I'd started with the color changing LEDs. I likely would have gone the Paragon route had I known about them.
