I usually post upcoming events in the other "location" section but I've noticed few people read those!

Sept 10, in Hickory NC, we are having our 4th annual Hickory Museum of Art Auto Lawn car show. Every year they focus on a different make or country and this year it's UK models.

They have 80-100 cars, and all makes really as long as vintage or exotic, great food, beer garden, special kids areas, a small test drive area to get a chance to drive some amazing cars, Aston Martin, Maserattii, Porsche, Jaguar, and others, never know until the show day!

This is not a Concour event so it's much less stuffy, and most awards are viewer voted. At 2:30 there is an awards ceremony than after great live music to sit back and enjoy a beer and some great food!

There is always a great Jaguar collection and cars from all over the east coast are shown, not just local and in fact, less local cars than others!

I've got both my Jagiars, XK8 (with its new Louis Vuitton interior) and my XF entered. .
Hope some of you are close enough to make a day trip and come have fun!

Oh, and it's adjacent to the Museum of Art and great exhibits there as well!
