Default Broken vanity mirror cover

Just been out for a quick blast in the cat with my daughter, for her to find when she pulled the passenger sun visor down that the cover for the mirror was loose, and just flapping. The one my side seems to be on some kind of spring mechanism that snaps shut to a firm close position, so there is obviously a problem with the 'spring' on the passenger side.

Whats the best way to fix? Is there a simple way of opening the visor up and examining things, and if it is a spring that's broken - that cant be mended - where can new ones be bought?

All advice greatly appreciated. Its only a small thing to go wrong, but I HATE the thought that something isn't 100%!

Jules

If you go on YouTube, there is a video that shows you how to to fix the flap.

I have fixed both of mine, and it is very simple to do. It will cost you some glue, and that is about it.

Repairing the sun visor mirror is not difficult just be sure you do not over due it with the glue and glue the flap closed.

Well, that was a simple fix. Can't believe I didn't knock that one out earlier. Thanks for the handy video guide!
