LOL. when I saw the title of your thread I thought you were going to give us your green thump tips on gardening. It looses translation coming across the pond. Not laughing at you but with you.
I changed mine a month ago. The ride and handling improved greatly. The lower shock bushing on driver side was badly worn.
Good job graham11.

Can you be more specific by quoting the exact part number? I'm also looking to replace all my suspension bushings for my MY1997 convertible since they are all overdue...

Just finished replacing all bushings on the drivers side, passenger side is next. also replaced sway bar links and steering rack bushings. Bought all but the steering rack bushings at Rock Auto, EURO Parts, seem to be high Quality and much more reasonable than OEM.
Uppers are a breeze to change, lowers are a real PITA.

Previous post, the parts from Rock Auto are "URO", which is a Simi CA. USA company.

RichXK8, where abouts are you in Seminole?
I live in Longwood and also have a 2001 XK8 and I am about to replace bushes in front suspension and sway bar to hopefully get rid of "Clunk" on front drivers side.
My email is: david@davidpackwood.com
