Perry much everyone has replaced their suspension parts at the age of these cars.

Yes, on my 03 I replaced every rubber part and joints on the front. Made a world of difference.

I just did my XJR last week and HUGE difference at 95k miles. I also did ball joints, tie rod ends (inner and outer), wheel bearings and end links. I am so happy I did it.

I did my XKR in the past (like in the 90k mile range if memory is correct) and YUGE difference too. Definitely worth the money and effort.

Just did all the rubber in the front end, including steering rack. Yes, made a big difference and they only had 53K miles but, 16 years old. Rubber was not compliant, quite hard.

I had all the suspension rubbers replaced with polybush ones in 2009, not a single one has perished since and no MOT advisories of 'play'.

Amazing considering they've done so well close to 8yrs later, at the same time I fitted 2003 springs and shocks and the ride is not really any harder
