Default California Shops

Hello everyone, I'm currently in Stockton California. I own a 2002 xkr and I was hoping that some of my fellow Californians can give me any insight on good shops that they go to for their XK8 or XKR. Someone with experience working on them. That would help so I wouldn't have to go to the dealership for repairs and what not.

If you're ever down in southern Cal., I take both of my XKRs, including my 2002 vert. and my 2010 coupe to Sako's Automotive in Northridge. Sako takes care of all of my cars as well as those of many friends.

You might try Ron at Automiester on Scott's st. off of S.Wilson way. 209 941 6000. I was there yesterday and there were 3 Jaguars in there. Ron does the heavy work on my old Mercedes. Don't like Norman Nock's on North Wilson?

Norman Nock's shop has been on N Wilson way for years. (over 20) Rather expensive in my opinion. Automiester has been around almost as many years under the same ownership. Ron told me today he has no problem doing the services but has no computer flashing or updating experience or the tools. Brakes, tune up and engine repair are OK.
