Can anybody help have a problem removing brake disc

Default Can anybody help have a problem removing brake disc

Hi fellow jag lovers I'm having trouble removing rear brake
Disc/drum after freeing up disc with hammer I'm able to slide disc in and out by hand but drum stops at cylindrical edge of hub center I've slackened adjuster and brake cable is there something I'm missing
Thanks for any help

If you've slackened the handbrake adjuster through the small hole in the rotor and it is simply stuck, you could try wire brushing the hub edge to clean any rust. Maybe even use some penetrating oil on the rotor / hub.

I also found that a 3/8 socket extension fits into the vents pretty well and makes a good handle to pull on.
