The door handle pocket is a great place for the phone. I would love to run a charger in the pocket. Any good wire in the door to tap into?

I spent a bit of time looking at the power available in the door when I was developing my remote top controller. It looks like only battery sourced power (not ignition switched) is available. Thus the charger would drain the battery unless it was unplugged each time.

If you look at my write-up in the 'drop your top' thread, I show how to run an ignition sourced power wire (the red/white one) from the engine compartment fusebox into the door. You can do that, or you can wait until the end of July when my remote top control module goes on sale, and you will get that wire in the door if you install my module.
