Welcome to the forum massflav,

Your picture wasn't attached so I've posted one here showing the two most common problem areas:

can one of you good sirs help me out 02 XK8-xk8-engine.jpg

Is the coolant leaking from the Thermostat Tower (arrowed in red) or the Expansion Tank (arrowed in blue)?

When you get a minute, please follow this link New Member Area - Intro a MUST - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the New Member Area - Intro a MUST forum and post some info about yourself and your vehicle for all members to see. In return you'll get a proper welcome and some useful advice about posting to the forum.

Default thank you

Actually it was the red arrow, the thermostat housing assembly. Now I have a different problem, my radiator fan assembly is completely cracked and making my car overheat again. Do yiu know anyone that has a used one at a decent price. Jaguar wants to charge me $700. I found a couple for 200 but I still feel like thats steep for used. Is that a good price?

At less than one third of the cost of a new part, it doesn't seem unreasonable.

+1

Jaguar parts are not like Chevys. Parts ARE going to be more expensive. I agree with GGG; $200 sounds like a good price to me.
