Norri, I have no idea how to create a poll. I guess just yes or no answers would be easiest. I think I listed about five questions and was hoping other people would think of some good questions.
It seems to be quite a conversational subject anytime it is brought up in a thread. Never saw a poll on it.

Should Jaguar Supercharger oil be changed?

Should the XKR Supercharger oil be changed?

Do you believed SC oil to be sealed for life?

Have you changed your SC oil?

Changed yourself or professionally ?

If you did change the oil, did you notice difference?

Changed SC oil before 80K or after 100K?


A simple YES NO or N/A would be good, but of course if anyone has additions or questions that would be good.



Norri , if you think of other pertainent questions that would have a yes or no answer please add them in. I think this would be a fun poll. Not a lot of dialogue or rhetoric just yes or no's!

Q: How often do I need to change the oil in my supercharger?
A: The sealed oil reservoir in a supercharger is designed to last the life of the vehicle. Changing the oil is not recommended unless you suspect contamination, leakage, or other issues like bearing failure. Also, if your vehicle has an abnormally heavy duty cycle, such as racing or towing, you could consider changing the oil at regular intervals such as 20k, 30k, 50k, or 100k miles depending on usage.
