I need to ship my XK8 from Chicago to Idaho. Any recommendations?
Searching the internet is more than confusing with hundreds of brokers

 

I recall when I had my cars shipped to me that I got off of eBay the seller put my "JOB" getting my car from say FL to OH, out on some type of thing they called out a BROADCAST and the folks in that industry would pick ones that were on their routes, load them up and make the run and drop your car off in sequence of their drive. Sorry I can't any more specific.

 

I don't have a company name in my head, but in picking one be sure to specify enclosed transport. Otherwise, well, you know.

 

ah, here it is. I bought my current jag from FL, the seller/dealer went to www.centraldispatch.com I have used this service actually for both of the jags I have bought. You as a indvl owner can also get on there and do what ever it needs to get drivers to bid on your delivery. I'd say go with the mid cost bid so you don't have some crapper bringing your car up on a POS trailer.
Looks like when you get on that site you need to use http://www.movecars.com since you are private person wanting a car moved.

 

If the car is in-op, it does cost more than one they can drive right up on the trailer.
