Default Change Leaper to Clock on NAV screen

2004 XKR. I've got the leaper on the screen. How can I change it to show the Clock? I know there is no significant software update to make it system current, but I'd sure love to put the Clock on screen. Thoughts, suggestions? Thanks for your input.

This is a 10 year old thread that discusses the update. It talks about how to burn the dvd and what type to use. Read through the whole thread to get an idea of potential problems. Post 106 seems to have a copy of the file for download. Good luck.

Thanks, I clicked the links on my phone and nothing happened but I'll try on the computer. Seems a lot more complicated than it should be for a software change. Maybe i can buy an used nav with the clock akready installed and just plug it

More work, but better results, I replaced my center 'Nav' screen with a "Real Gauge" 3 gauge cluster(new veneer thru eBay). Added a 71/2" Garmin GPS to the lower left side of my windscreen. Got fully up to date nav data, working gauges, and a backup camera.
Not for 'Purists', but very usable, and I think it looks good.

Send me your address (DM) and I will be glad to send you a disk.
I just went through this - downloaded the file, burnt a disk on the wrong type of CD, did it again with the right one. Replaced the disk and had to reboot it a few times and now I have a clock!

I've been considering that change, more bucks too. Plus the middle panel wil not match so all 3 need to be replaced with matching color and woodgrain.
