Hey guys,
While trouble shooting my air con system I found two major issues.
1. The intercooler radiator had been rubbing against the condenser on both sides which wore a hole in the condenser. This wont apply to XK8's but worth checking out to make sure the rad is not rubbing.

2. The air con pipe that runs under the front of the vehicle had came out of the supporting “C” shaped plastic clamp located on the bottom of the radiator fan housing. It had rubbed against the oil cooler line on the driver’s side and had worn a hole in the air con pipe; thankfully it wasn’t the other way around.
You should check both these items as soon as possible. I cut up and old radiator top hose and used it to wedge between the condenser and intercooler and hold them apart.

Sorry no pictures, the ones I took were too dark to be of use.

Regards,
Karl
