Default Checking pressure of the compressor

Hi, I have connected a boost gauge to check the pressure at which the compressor works and does not exceed 10 PSI
Is this normal or something is not working right ?.
Thanks for your help.

Static pressure should be around 30 psi. By 'static' I mean engine off and pressure equalized between high and low sides of the compressor. Your 10 psi, if a static reading, is not going to work well. If it is a low side reading with the engine running it might be putting out a little cool air.

Here is the temperature/pressure chart:

Tom, I think Javier is referring to the supercharger, not the A/C. The supercharger is sometimes referred to as a compressor in Europe.

The rated boost peak is 11.6 PSI, but it is not uncommon to be down a bit on an older car.

Thanks for your responses, as actually says White XKR around here call volumetric compressor, what you call yourselves supercharger.
Sorry if my English is not very correct because I do not speak it as well as they should and I will have to help translators do not always translate what they really mean.
On the subject, it seems that some pressure is correct because the gauge is not of great quality and that little difference could be due to the quality of the gauge as the car has only 38000 Km.
Modifying the lower or upper pulley As we could increase the working pressure ?.

Having only one compressor I assumed he meant that one. At least he now has the AC pressure chart.

Javier, many of the members here have modified their XKR superchargers by putting on smaller pulleys. The first step requires no modifications. The second step may require dressing down the nose of the supercharger for clearance. I have only done the step one pulleys. I think they are good for a 1.5psi boost incease. I can tell you that they are difficult to remove (unless you cut them off) and the new ones are equally difficult to draw into place. But, it can obviously be done! You would use the same drive belt. I use a moly lube to help it go on a bit easier. Someone else here can tell you about the second smaller pulley, and whether the belt will need to be changed as well.
