Later XK8's had chrome, later XKR's were painted to match.

A 2005 XKR should be the same color as the paint. If it's not, someone changed them out.

eBay Motors is full of scammers now. Two of the last three cars I tried to buy on eBay were wire fraud scams.

RE why id want to change it to chrome.... nothing to do with making it look older / newer, simply because I think the chrome 'lifts' the back hugely and ends up making the rear a lot prettier!
